Who can use this service ?
Anybody, health professional or student, seeking information regarding health and its history:
medicine, biology, pharmacology, psychology, public health, odontology, nursing, paramedical services, health
economics, and medical law.
The service is free-of-charge.
What questions may I ask ?
The Biuminfo team is here to help you get past the difficulties you may encounter whilst
searching for addresses, references, bibliographies on specific subjects, both printed and electronic documents,
etc.
You can request information on all health-related topics and we will respond using our in-house
resources (catalogues, databases) and those of other institutions (libraries, websites) as well.
We can also deliver photocopies of selected documents by mail to your home/office (subject to

Who answers my question ?
A team of twelve librarians, who are not physicians ; so they can’t deliver any medical opinion or
medical advice.
How long will it take for me to get an answer ?
You can submit questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The service responds Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. till 7 p.m.. Questions are usually
answered the day that they are received. Questions submitted on week-ends will be handled on the following
Monday.

Biuminfo commits itself not to disclose any personal information nor the contents of the
exchanged mails.
BIUM-INFO is not engaged in rendering medical service or advice and the information provided is not a substitute for a professional medical opinion. If you have a medical problem, please
