Around 1960 engineers studied new ways to apply makeup electromechanically. The idea was to deposit, particle after particle, grain after grain, an adequate minimum quantity according to the topography of the face. The objective was to obtain a more natural and uniform appearance, but the idea was too complicated to implement with the means available at the time. Little by little, specific ranges of cinema and theater products appeared.
